Did You Know That We Design Bedrooms?!

Yes we do! Along with living rooms, family rooms, and home offices. If a space is underutilized or if its purpose has changed, a refresh or complete redesign will transform it into a beautiful and functional space. See how it’s done with color and fabric in the following bedroom projects.
Then check out a selection of professional photos just taken of recently completed projects. More to come!

As always, please reach out if you are ready to discuss a renovation—or a room redesign.

Main Bedroom Lincoln Park
Although not replacing the furniture, the couple want to freshen up their room with new paint, carpet, lighting and custom built-in cabinetry. The design concept drawings show a display cabinet in the far side of the room. Filling in this awkward area with functional furniture will help keep away the junk piles.

On the other side of the room the TV will be on the wall as part of built-in cabinetry. Drapes will soften up the room giving it a more cozy feel.

Adding some blue to the neutral palette will bring in soft color and interest to create a relaxing, soothing room.

Before: the room felt bland and dark

Teenager’s Bedroom in Lincoln Park
While this teenager loves her room in the family’s new house, she prefers a more sophisticated neutral color palette and drapes rather then shades. The headboard and accent paint will be redone in shades of taupe. A coordinating light weight fabric will be chosen for flowy curtains to complete the look.

Fabrics will add texture and warmth
