Ravenswood Renovation: The Finishing Touches!
The end is near, as the finishing touches are in the works. The island and dining table are now punctuated with a beautiful light fixture and the bar counter features 4 glass pendants. The next and last step is the backsplash tile! Remember the kitchen before the renovation? The photo above right shows the dramatic transformation from a closed off outdated space to an open and light filled dining room and kitchen–perfect for cooking and entertaining.
Bathrooms require a ton of tile work! An accent stripe in green doubles as a storage niche on the back wall. The bathroom is open and modern with a minimal shower shield to keep the water in.
The accent tile is carried through to the vanity wall. Medicine cabinets with integrated LED lighting keep the look clean and uncluttered. These Kohler Verdera models also include a pull out magnifying mirror and electrical outlets inside. A floating shelf above provides space for display while creating a set-off vanity area. The renovation has changed this outdated bathroom (see photo above right) into a luxurious space complete with heated flooring, soaking tub, and rainshower head.
