Countertops Complete at the Ravenswood Renovation!

The big wait for the custom countertops is over! Now just a few final steps and the kitchen will be beautiful and fully functional.  Next on the list:  faucet,  backsplash tile, door pulls and light fixtures–all happening within the next week. The large island has made the biggest impact on this kitchen. It houses the microwave and provides tons of storage on both sides.  Also adding much needed counter space and seating by the window. It will really stand out when the Lotus Flower capiz light fixture floats above.

Painting the entire townhouse is in the works.  In the photo above you see the dining room wall is a gray green shade and the back side of the bar counter is the same dark blue/gray as the island cabinets. This single bowl sink from Blanco features their “Siligranit” finish which is very durable and resists heat, scratches, stains and chips.  Available in an array of colors–we chose “metallic gray” to pick up the gray veining in Silestone’s “Pearl Jasmine” quartz.

The bathroom countertop is Classic White from Silestone.  It looks crisp and clean against the gray cabinets.  The wall above will be covered in the same green tile used for the accent stripe in the shower.   The bathroom is not as far along as the kitchen but should be done within 2 weeks.  It still needs tile, medicine cabinets, plumbing fixtures, lighting and the shower door.
