From Vision to Completion
Getting to Know You
Gathering information and learning about you is a most important first step. At our initial consultation, we will discuss your project scope, your lifestyle and what you hope to accomplish. We will explain how we collaborate with you and our team to maximize the potential of your space, both functionally and aesthetically.
The Proposal
We will provide you with an outline of the project scope, a list of our design and project management services that pertain to your project and expected design fees. A contractual agreement is included for us to sign. If you are planning a renovation, we may include a sample budget based on a similar project.
Design Concepts and Drawings
During the next meeting we will ask you more detailed questions and if
Next we study the information that we learned about your lifestyle, design aesthetic and budget, and begin developing design concepts. If you are planning a kitchen or bathroom renovation, additional time will be taken to review our renovation questionnaire. The concepts are depicted using 3d color drawings and a selection of material/finishes samples. As we meet and discuss options, the final design will come into focus and updated drawings will be created.
Selections
Now that we have the big picture, it is time to narrow down choices for furniture, finishes, materials or whatever else is involved. We take you out to see everything in person or provide you with samples.
Once final selections are made, we organize and manage the ordering process for you. We write purchase orders, check details for accuracy and then coordinate receiving, freight and deliveries.
Construction and Installation
We provide construction documentation for the General contractor and other trades as needed. Our project management ensures that details are not overlooked while keeping the project’s timeline and budget on track. We oversee the work until you are completely satisfied.
