Will we make it in time?

Logan Square

It’s now been a year and half since the family moved into their new construction home. With baby number 2 due this month, the house is bustling with nesting activities.

The nursery is highlighted by an accent wall of abstract dandelions in sunflower yellow.  The mini crib from Nestig converts to a bigger crib and a toddler bed ensuring many years of use.

Rogers Park
This beautiful American 4-square is undergoing a kitchen renovation that will update it with warm white cabinets, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and a ceramic tile backsplash.

The backsplash tile covers the entire wall in a “crayon” shape with random shades of warm gray.

The design concept drawing shows how the kitchen was enlarged by extending it out into an under utilized area of the house.

Before: the kitchen felt crowded and wasn’t functional

Graceland West

This vintage row house was due for a renovation (see the before photos below).  Slate blue cabinets and floating wood shelves keep the feel warm, yet modern.  The original exposed brick has been left intact.

Quartz countertop in “cloudburst concrete” combined with classic subway tile, creates a mix of old and new to complement the vintage architecture.

The design concept drawing shows the completed space with a hood vent and floating shelves.
