Why NOT Wallpaper?

Roscoe Village New Construction Home
Why not wallpaper….because it comes in so many styles and can be used in so many ways. Highlight a niche, add color and texture, create a unique space, express yourself, set a mood or just have fun. Nowadays vinyl and other durable papers can even protect walls and last longer than paint. This home owner couldn’t wait to enhance her style by utilizing wallpaper in the entryway, kitchen and bedrooms.

An Indigo Blue hand-painted geometric pattern takes its inspiration from the Japanese Shibori dying technique. It sets off the kitchen banquette to create an artsy space in which to eat, do homework or just hang out.

The entryway is highlighted by an abstract design taken from original artwork. Allover embossing adds texture and interest as one enters the home. The living room beyond is painted a blue/gray shade found in the paper.

South American natural grasses inspired this paper which highlights one wall in the main bedroom. It adds a soothing and calming atmosphere, perfect for a bedroom.

Magical galloping unicorns couldn’t be sweeter for a girl’s room. The paper sets off what will be a reading nook and with its iridescent dreamy feel it will make a perfect place to escape.
